* J/30 FRICTION LOSS sailed last year's Pacific Cup 2010- a 2,000nm+ dash from San Francisco to Hawaii. Three friends. Nice shots. J/30 surfing all the way home to Diamond Head and Waikiki doing 10 to 15 knots the whole way under spinnaker, gybing on the shifts....way cool.One noteworthy accomplishment was that they were second in class- again, belated congratulations to Shawn Ivie and crew aboard their J/30 FRICTION LOSS.
