(Sydney, Australia)- As our friends Down Under continue to learn more about the J/Boats brand, they keep picking up famous lovingly pre-owned racing boats from their far northern sailing friends in Europe and the USA. Recently, Carl Braden, the owner of the J/109 BLUE SKY in Sydney, sent us a nice photo of their team sailing in Sydney Harbour.Carl commented, “we love our J/109! Here is a photo of us doing the ‘Sydney Seven Islands Harbour Race’. We managed to sail well, got on the podium and collected more silverware, something we seem to do a lot with this boat! This time, we came 3rd in Division 1 and were beaten by two well-known all-out racing teams on a Sydney 38 and a Melges 32. We had a ball!
